*Non-Biological Allergens: The RAST test performed for the above listed non-biological allergens will detect sensitivity to an allergen when the patient has IgE antibodies directed at that specific allergen. Due to the complex nature of non-biological allergens, a patient can be sensitive but not test positive by RAST.

A positive RAST indicates definite sensitivity.

A negative RAST does not rule out sensitivity to this material.
